#Fail on FNB or me totally OTT… not sure yet.

…Hi there,

…is the question: Rating your “FNB” overall service or only hers (Mabusi Radebe)…  when you need to consider that I had to go into a FNB branch over lunch time and wait for 20 minutes before being helped only to have a consultant struggle as much with my query as I did… After spending a total of 35 minutes of an additional day, added to my previous visits over the past week, I’ve literally met every one of the Woodstock staff face to face! (Three days at an average of an hour a day, to sort out previous errors created by P. Khanya on a straight forward business bank account.. all this repetition & lack of proper communication for what should be simple tasks, especially if you wish to attract more clients & business in general.)
FNB’s in-house staff is very helpful, however when they struggle as much as the client does, to the point that they have to also contact your call centre which didn’t do a good job to initially set up the correct client information (aka, P. Khanya) and then ask me if another consultant doing the same job, gave me proper service?
This won’t matter to me as a customer/ client, especially if I have to go into a bank more than four times in one week to gain proper access to a account that should have been easy to set up correctly from the start without all this hassle that has actually managed to persist from FNB over nearly the past year… as much apologies as I have received from the FNB staff and the institution as a whole, it still doesn’t change the fact that my time was wasted for a standard service required for any business to operate in the current economy given by your establishment.
I haven’t managed to get any of my time or energy back, for any of this… If you wish to have my opinion on service or client/ customer relations, the problem wont be in the level of service but your abilities to efficiently execute and access information… no …after already repeating this message for the fifth time in yet another form (written communication) after verbally informing your front-line in-house consulting staff of this very level of service… don’t you think that the problem lies, not in your service delivery to the client but your in-house FNB staff communication?
…and now you wish to ask me once more in writing/ typing up all of this, thereby wasting even more of my time on something that shouldn’t even feature this much in my daily life, which may I remind you wastes even more of my time that you do not pay me for… but it’s compulsory of me to pay you for a service that feels this torturous is utter non-sense? This is disturbing and upsetting to say the least… this is what focus groups and think-tanks should actually be focusing on, that establishments like yourself should be asking them… not your paying customers or clients.
Right now I do not like FNB at all… considering all the hassle I’ve had to go through to merely gain access to a facility that should be straight forward, efficient and user friendly… However you have asked for it… so take the opportunity to please utilise what I have mentioned above as constructive criticism. I may not know much about banking but I have had sufficient exposure to various persons from various backgrounds etc. in business & customer service, to understand where various issues and operational running problems can be cleaned up, efficiently with a whole lot less fuss… and asking your clients one question like this doesn’t change what you have subjected them to as human beings… honestly.
Have a good day and I would like to thank the FNB Woodstock staff for having more patience with this testing period of interaction than I’ve had to endure, because of FNB’s inability to communicate efficiently in-house with regard to the customers issues & details… but then again, it’s their job, not mine. So ask them and listen to them too…
Should you have any queries regarding what I’ve said above, you may contact me on my mobile between 12h30 -13h00 on Mondays only. Alternatively you can request a telephonic appointment by email with a minimum of four days in advance, to the current date of initiated contact by email.
Kind regards,

Wayne Moses

…they say love makes the world go round

Well in a way, they are right… in a way! However if it’s love that makes the world go round, what would happen if everyone stopped loving?

While reflecting over my life and the lives of others I have had the privileged to love and be loved by… I’ve noticed something interesting. This word has become a commodity to be traded in today’s society. If you do not understand, why not check out how Valentines Day came into being, along with Christmas, Easter, New years day, Family dayDay of goodwill, various Bank holidaysYouth DayHeritage DayIndependence DayGuy Fawkes DayBoxing Day which is yet another celebrated bank holiday…

Most people are just happy with getting the day off to spend with family and friends after working like a slave to a system which only traps them more and more everyday… We now have incredible access to numerous resources, knowledge and fresh idea’s to openly speak to others about… Corporations have aptly dubbed this as “Social Media” while telling us to share and like and do… we have conveniently allowed it to replace the previously ordained Institutions and Media Juggernauts with what we deem as relevant, thus allowing further enslavement by the controlling powers that be…

But I don’t want this post to be about them… I would prefer that it be about us and everything we hold dear, like love 😀

How do I help when people I love are all suffering, when they are actually supposed to be enjoying this life that is so ridiculously short and pathetic, where every step you take forward only pushes you three steps back with you the on looker ending up worse off than when you started your sorry existence with no one else to blame but yourself for your current condition, all the while thinking… what and who have I wronged to deserve this painful life! I now know why I’m unable to amount to even half the man my father was. We cry, for love lost, not conditions or possible circumstances which hurt us… thus not acknowledging the actual root of the problem, so the truth reveals itself after you have looked passed it so many times. You only have yourself to blame, because as blissful as ignorance may make you, the rude awakening you’ll get once you discover the truth is only the start of torment you find in your life…

Back in the day when the conquering nations would enter a “new territory” they would trade goods, which were made up of useless trinkets and junk that wasn’t worth the sand it was put on… Is today any different? You work your ass off for money, money which is created by who? …no, not the country or it’s government… but banks, while they constantly rob the value of what you think is a honest living to offer you the very same useless trinkets they gave the once majestic countries they colonized and raped.

So if they say… love makes the world go round, why is it that their actions contradict? To what end will we allow this madness?

C24 Blog and News

U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), the military command responsible for the bulk of America’s defensive and offensive cyberwar efforts, is receiving a 500% manpower increase. Between 2014 and 2016, the Pentagon expects to add thousands of new billets–the exact number is still unknown–to the 900 service members currently assigned to CYBERCOM. CYBERCOM is tasked with a staggering array of tasks designed to secure America’s online infrastructure; this ranges in real life from detecting and patching security holes in critical infrastructure such as banking and utilities to creating new network defenses for the military’s sprawling computer systems.

Some really interesting videos that look at the issues that not only the US but we all face in the future. The significant increase in the amount of manpower being recruited by the US military to address cyber crime highlights how serious they are taking the threat. However, it is important for all companies to…

Thoughts & Rants with a few disturbing questions…

After not writing for many moons… I finally made a decision to touch my keyboard and convert my thoughts into another medium that exists outside my somewhat feeble imagination that has become accustomed to expecting the worst case scenarios, whether they’re real or fictitious and with this I now start my “new year” according to the Gregorian calendar which most of this world follows with military precision… I came to accept that I can no longer choose to, however I will gladly acknowledge everyone who still chooses to do so… because it helps them make sense of it all…. blah blah blah…bleh.

Unfortunately or fortunately this is not the case for me. I have spent a considerable portion of my life somewhat glued to one screen or another without truly questioning the contents authenticity/ validity… instead I willingly followed and agreed with most of what was said, only to realize that nearly none of what I have taken in is of any real consequence…

…for example, yesterday I walked into my local super market, and purchased some sausage, bread & peanut butter. Although the place was packed with people rushing about to weekly or monthly groceries, I wasn’t phased by them at all because I was plugged into a screen even then… the screen being my mobile phone. Using it to calculate prices, listen to music via blue-tooth and replying to friends in the neighborhood and elsewhere in the country. By disconnecting myself from what was actually going on around me, I became aware of something else… Best buys (you know, the cheap stuff thats quick & easy to make, like beef sausage)… not that I’m a health nut or anything… just an average guy on a mission for munchies so, I looked a little closer because something that’s cheap or free usually holds a little catch that can have undesirable consequences… so I decided to take a pic and find out a little more…

Now keep in mind that this is something rather minor… but seriously… how much crap do you want to put into sausage? When only 63% is beef and 28% is water… making up for 91%, which basically means that the remaining 8% is a total load of crap! How is that a best buy? Strangely though… this was the last pack left on the shelf, so with that all these Q’s came rushing into my head… I have added the url links to this post so you can see for yourself where I found my answers… as the truth of it all is way too disturbing to even mention here!

Q 1. Why add cereal to sausage?

A1. http://www.fao.org/docrep/003/x6556e/X6556E02.htm

Q2. I know salt is a good preservative… but then why add MSG?

A2. http://www.msgtruth.org/avoid.htm

Q3. What the hell is HVP?

A3. http://www.naturalnews.com/028323_Hydrolyzed_Vegetable_Protein_HVP.html

Q4. What is phosphates & why the heck is in in this sausage?

A4. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosphate

Q5. Flavorings…huh…so I’m not actually gonna have beef sausage but something that is a synthetic production thereof?

A5. http://www.wisegeek.com/how-are-sausages-made.htm

Q6. Wheat gluten…Why would they add that to “normal” beef sausage?

A6.1 http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/07/23/why-is-wheat-gluten-disorder-on-the-rise.aspx

A6.2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheat_gluten_(food)

…and a flavor enhancer…seriously WTF man…

Q7. What’s ascorbic acid… and if it’s a preservative then what the heck is the salt for?

A7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascorbic_acid

Q8. Spice Extracts… what? Wasn’t normal spice good enough?

Q9. Why do I require a scientific degree to know what chemicals they are putting into my food?

A9. Same answer as A8.

Q10. What is the literacy percentage in Cape Town, Woodstock, South Africa & how many people in their haste actually read what ingredients contained in the food they purchase for their growing families?

A10.1 https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/sf.html

A10.2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_literacy_rate

A10.3 http://www.indexmundi.com/facts/south-africa/literacy-rate

At least they had the decency to follow required South African legalities in regard to food production while proudly announcing that it’s specially packed for “Shoprite Checkersone of the largest and most established supermarkets in the country… nice one!

I would place this one on my list of epic fails… and in doing so I vow never to shop there again… because if this is what a supermarket chain deams responsible produce to provide a consumer with… while knowing full and well what these ingredients does to the human body… They choose profit, I choose sustainability…

Maybe this is just a little rant I’m having… but with everything being the way it is in RSA… well the least they could do is feed us, their slaves with proper nutrition instead of crap like this.

All this has done is raise even more questions… and I must admit, it’s like an avalanche of filth.

…then I decided to ask “google” How many consumers in South Africa read the labels on food and this article popped up… and all I can say is WTF!!!

…See you in two weeks time for my next bucket of thoughts & rants 🙂
